I love these beautiful refreshing sangrias! Refrigerate overnight so the fruit infuses the liquid even more and serve with Sonic bug ice... seriously y'all... so good.
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup sugar syrup
1/2 cup shots brandy
1 bottle Texas Red Sweet Wine
1-quart sparkling water
1 cup blueberries, 3 sliced limes, 2 sliced lemons and mint leaf to garnish when serving
In a 2-quart pitcher, place all fruit, sliced and seeded and pineapple juice. Add 1/2 sugar syrup and 1/2 cup of Brandy. Add one bottle Texas Sweet Red Wine, cover and refrigerate for 12 hours. Remove fruit. Add 1 quart CHILLED sparkling water. Taste for sweetness, if desired add more sugar syrup. Pour over ice and decorate with fresh blueberries, limes, lemons, and mint. Serves about 4.
I like this sweeter than some folks. In place of sparkling water, you can also use Sprite!
