I love this artist’s mind. It is a glimpse into mine, although we have never met. When I had the idea for Ladder to the Rooftop Academy: Free Tools for Effectively Proclaiming the Kingdom, I typed little girl holding ladder on my google search and this image appeared.
Yep. I reached out to Marcia Furman and she chirped, “Sure!” I hope you will visit her websites and enjoy more of her beautiful work. What a neat being. So blessed to have found her….
Marcia Furman is an acrylic artist and crafter born and raised in Butler Pennsylvania. She is tiny enough to fit into laundry baskets, but her paintbrush reaches up and into the cloudy realms of childlike and fantastic. Although quite often mistaken for child-oriented art, it’s quite the opposite. Marcia merges reality with fiction and memories with perception. Painting from the heart, she uses light and color to bring the shadows of her life experiences into a whimsical existence. Marcia’s paintings will stir something deep inside of you, and make a connection that you won’t forget.
